Eleanor Strong, born in Philadelphia about 1802-3, died in New York City 9 July 1863 aged 60. She married John Wood in Chillicothe, Ohio on 13 March, 1823. She was very likely named for her maternal grandmother, Eleanor Young. The Strong Genealogy lists Eleanor as the fourth child of Joseph and Rebecca Strong, between Peter Young Strong and William Young Strong, who were baptised on 28 Apr. 1801 and 12 Dec. 1804.
